Facebook Dating is rolling out an AI assistant in the US and Canada to help users find more tailored matches. The chatbot lets people search profiles with prompts like “find a Brooklyn girl in tech,” refine their profiles, or even get date ideas. Meta has also introduced a “Meet Cute” feature that delivers one algorithm-picked match each week, aimed at reducing swipe fatigue. While matches among young adults have grown 10% year over year, Facebook Dating still trails far behind Tinder and Hinge, highlighting the competition AI is bringing to online dating.
